Five Questions Friday October 21, 2011

Whew. Another week gone! A step closer to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas...oh yeah, and winter. OK we're done with that nice erm, perspective. Anywho, it's time again for Five Questions Friday, the blog hop from Mama M. Join in on the fun!

1. Where do you escape to when you've had enough?
I used to always escape to my car. Nothing is better for me than either driving in my car to a park in my former hometown, or my current hometown, listening to music, thinking about things. There are many times lately that I've "just had enough", except this time it's not as easy for me to escape. I can't just get into the car like I used to. And with the weather changing and becoming more cold, unpredictable (as if it isn't every other time of the year in MN anyway!!), and more like winter, going for a walk isn't as easy either. I'm hoping my escapes will develop more into walking and going to the gym. Because both are going to ultimately benefit my health. It's a goal I have. But that's neither here, nor there.

2. What shows are you watching this fall?
This fall, well, I'm watching a lot more prime time television than I used to. I've been a House and Glee addict for quite some time now, and I've been watching 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom as well. But lately, I've also been getting in Grey's Anatomy (as much as I used to say over and over how I would never watch that show..) and I am going to start watching Once Upon a Time, which is a new show on ABC. I'm looking forward to that. Once I'm back to work, it'll mainly be watching all of this on DVR either after work or after school.

3. What was the longest roadtrip you've ever taken and where did you go?
On my own, that's easy...I took a trip to the metro area of our state for my friend Riley's funeral. I drove the whole way and back by myself, and it took over two hours to get there and back. With someone, I have gone to Texas and also to Las Vegas. Both trips were pretty much horrendous, as living in a car isn't very fun when you're a young child. The cars were not very roomy and we did enjoy some things, but it wasn't as fun as I originally thought. Also, we didn't have alot of the modern conviniences then that we do now, like I-pods, Laptops, built in DVD players, etc. I sound old now. Haha

4. Do you plan on taking your kids to Disney World?
I don't have kids currently, but when I do have kids, I would like to take them to Disney World. I'm not sure if that would even be possible or financially feasible, but hey it's a good goal, right?

5. What is something people would surprised to know about you?
I suppose people would be surprised to know how shy I actually am. How deeply I think things over, how much I contemplate everything about life, how deeply I love and appreciate people, how scared I am to trust people and depend on them. Those are just a few things.

That's it for this week. Join in!!!
