Five Question Friday 11/25/2011

You guessed it, time for Five Question Friday.

1. Is there a special dish you prepare that you are famous for?

No, I don't really have a special dish that I am famous for. At least not as far as Thanksgiving food goes. I'm pretty good at baking, but I need to get better at my cooking skills.

2. Are you (did you) go Black Friday shopping ?

I did go Black Friday shopping. For the first time. Ever. I could devote almost an entire post on the chaos and humor that occurred on Black Friday.  I went shopping with my sister and my cousin Megan. Oh and in case anyone wanted to know, my sister is the Black Friday Ninja. Seriously. She has skills.

3. What are your strangest holiday traditions?

Funny this is mentioned. My step dad and sister and I always go around town on Christmas Day and go on the "Quest for the Christmas Food". Meaning, we go around town to find the restaurant that is crazy enough to be open on Christmas Day. One year, we didn't find a restaurant that was open so we had to get food at Kwik Trip. Last year Baker's Square was open.

4. Pecan or pumpkin pie? (She actually asked "Apple or pumpkin?" I just T-giving'ed it!)

Pumpkin. I like pecan too. But pumpkin is delicious.

5. When will you put up your Christmas tree?

It's looking like we will be doing this on Sunday. But I'm not entirely sure. Time will tell.
