It's time again for Five Question Friday, and all I can say is that I am glad for two very important things. 1) It's FRIDAY. and 2) End of the semester is only THREE weeks away. THANK GOD!
But that's beside the point. OK not really. Sickness has invaded our house, Grandma has respiratory stuff along with possible stomach bug. Could somebody please pass me the lysol. Oh and a hasmat suit? Please and thank you!
But yeah. It's Friday. So on to my original point. Feel free to join in on the fun.
1. Do you have a go to song that always puts you in a good
mood?
Well, I have songs that have the great potential to make me happy, if that's what you mean. I like to listen to Party Rock Anthem..as it's almost impossible not to dance to it. (Seriously, try listening to it sometime without dancing, bet you can't do it!) Not to mention Christmas music. I love Christmas music. But that's not a song, it's a group of songs. But yeah.
2. Are you a real Christmas tree kinda person or do you go
with a real fake one?
I would seriously LOVE to be able to have a real Christmas tree. However, I have this problem. More than half of my family is allergic to the trees. Not to mention I'm fairly senstive to them as well. So, we're a fake tree kinda family. Not by choice though. One year, we decided to get a real tree and couldn't figure out why everyone was sick. Once we realized it, it was a bit of a duh moment. But I digress.
3. What are you thankful
for?
A whole lot. I'm thankful for the roof over my head. My family, both biological and adopted, my current stability, my therapist, the abilities to walk, talk, and eat (within reason, I can not eat as much as I would like, or as much as I probably should), my education, my teachers, friends. Yeah, I'm thankful for an awful lot. Not to mention my job, even though I can not currently work (t-minus 11 days till I can work again!!) And all of my adopted mamas. Especially Mama Mary and Mama Deb. I am very blessed. It's easy to lose sight of that at times.
4. Which fashion fad from the past do you wish you could
wear today?
I LOVE stuff from the 1940's. I would love to be able to swing dance. I love it! I'm what you'd call an "old soul" so I would have been totally in my element around that time.
5. Do you wait until the "low fuel" light comes on before
you fill up the gas tank?
Um. No. Never. I always try to NEVER let my fuel tank get lower than a half a tank or a fourth of a tank. I haven't driven for a while, but I am SO excited because I will begin driving again in just three days! So there you have it. Five Question Friday. Enjoy the fun!
